Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 and Angels and Airwaves has announced another side project, but this one has nothing to do with music.

The rocker is set to release his first children's book - titled "The Lonely Astronaut on Christmas Eve" - just in time for the holidays.  The book is a joint effort between DeLonge, now a father of two, and animator Mike Henry.

It tells the story of a rocketeer who finds himself spending Christmas alone on the moon until he runs into a few "unexpected and extraterrestrial friends."

Fans can pre-order a limited-edition "Lonely Astronaut" package starting November 25th at

In addition to a hardcover, first edition of the book, the special package comes with an etched ornament and a limited-edition t-shirt.
